The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR), Eng. Mohamad-Ali Kabbani, received the United States Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Michel Issa, in the presence of members of the Council's Board of Directors at the Council for Development and Reconstruction.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the general situation in Lebanon, particularly the economic and social conditions. They also explored possibilities for cooperation, especially in the areas of investment in infrastructure projects, reconstruction efforts, and encouraging American companies to contribute to these initiatives.
