The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR), Eng. Mohamad-Ali Kabbani, and his Vice President, Dr. Ibrahim Chahrour, participated in a meeting held at the Municipality of Beirut. The meeting was attended by the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, the President of the Municipal Council, Ibrahim Zeidan, several members of the Municipal Council, and the Chairman of the National Authority for Solid Waste Management, Engineer Marwan Rizkallah.

The meeting was dedicated to discussing the solid household waste management plan for the City of Beirut, particularly with regard to the operation of the Karantina sorting facility as part of an integrated waste management plan.
