The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR), Eng. Mohamad-Ali Kabbani, participated as Guest of Honour in the workshop held in Cairo on Saturday, 13 June 2026, at the invitation of the African Federation of Construction Contractors’ Associations (AFCCA), with the participation of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and the Confederation of International Contractors’ Associations (CICA).
During a dialogue session dedicated to Lebanon, Eng. Kabbani outlined the principal challenges facing the reconstruction process in the country and highlighted the requirements for advancing recovery and development efforts.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Eng. Hassan Abdel Aziz, President of the African Federation, presented a commemorative shield to Eng. Kabbani in recognition of his participation and his contributions to the discussions on reconstruction and development.
