The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, received in his office, in the presence of the CDR working team, the Head of the Regional Office for Jordan, Lebanon and Syria at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Mr. Emmanuel Kalenzi, where they discussed projects to establish infrastructure for industrial zones that the government may decide to establish in the future.

The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, received in his office a mission from the World Bank in preparation for the reconstruction project. During the meeting, the project details were discussed in terms of its components, the mechanism for determining priorities, and the procedures required to accelerate implementation mechanisms.

A meeting was held between the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mr. Fayez Rasamny, the President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, and the Ministry and CDR working teams, to get acquainted and discuss the projects implemented by CDR for the Ministry. The two parties agreed to establish a coordination mechanism for the next stage to ensure the smooth running of these projects.

The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, received in his office a delegation from the World Bank, where they discussed the possibility of providing a loan from the World Bank, based on the request of the Prime Minister, with the aim of financing the emergency support project after the recent Israeli aggression on Lebanon, with a value of 250 million US dollars. Lebanon Emergency Assistance Project (LEAP).

The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, received MP Hadi Abu Al-Hossen. During the meeting, the projects that CDR is implementing were reviewed.

The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, accompanied by CDR work team, participated in a meeting held at the Ministry of Energy and Water in the presence of the Minister of Energy, Dr. Walid Fayad, the Ministry’s work team, and the directors of water departments. During the meeting, preparations were made for negotiations with the World Bank regarding the loan related to financing the completion of the Awali water transfer project to Beirut.

Nabil El-Jisr, received in his office, and in the presence of CDR work team, a delegation from the Contractors Association headed by its Chairman, Eng. Maroun ElHelou. During the meeting, they discussed the problems facing the public works and how it can be solved.

During the meeting, projects related to roads executed by CDR in the region mainly Dahr el Baidar West Bekaa roads were followed up.
